How to Use
- Choose your preferred suction tip
- Change filter
- Wash your face with a gentle cleanser
- Open your pores using a facial steamer, hot cloth or bowl steamer (this opens the pores preparing them for treatment)
- Begin treatment by holding the tip over the treatment area and turning on the device
- Adjust intensity according to your preference/skin tolerance
- During treatment, continually move the device in small motions, avoiding treating one area for more than 2 seconds at any one interval
- After 5 minutes, the device will shut down automatically
- Apply a cold steam or cold press to the area to reseal the pores post treatment

Opening the pores before extraction helps soften the skin and loosen debris, making it easier to remove impurities such as dirt, oil, and dead skin cells. This process can help prevent skin irritation and ensure you are getting the most from your treatment
Prior to extraction, it is recommended that you test the suctioning power on your palm. Change the intensity level using the on-off button and adjust as needed. Once you’re comfortable with the intensity, you may now use it in the treatment area. Do not hold the suction in one place for longer than 2 seconds to prevent irritation and any subsequent bruising that may follow
Clearing blackheads reduces the risk of developing a skin infection or more severe breakout. It prevents spreading bacteria on the face through touching, picking or squeezing the skin
Use 2-3 times per week
The Vana does not cause irritation, but you might notice some redness post treatment. Cleanse your skin with a gentle cleanser to remove any excess dirt that has been extracted during the treatment. Apply a hydrating serum such as hyaluronic acid and use a cold press or cold steam to reseal pores. Avoid harsher actives and other chemical exfoliants for 2-3 days post treatment

I have very oily skin. I used to use a removal tool and when I saw this I had to have it. It works great, much better than metal tools in that it doesn’t hurt and removed more. it’s not terribly uncomfortable to use but not pin free. It does cause some hickies if you’re not careful or familiars with it so start slow. I will say this: This works best when you’ve steamed your face with a face steamer. I’ve done it 3 ways; With a dry face, after a shower, and also while steaming with a face steamer. Your going to get the most out of it with a good steamer. I did get a couple little hickies but they’ll go away and you’ll kind of learn which places on your face are more prone to them so you can adjust the suction.Once a week I do a big regimen where before hand I’ll wash with a glycerine based soap, pat dry, self derma-plane, wash and which hazel again, then steam for about 1-3 minutes before starting and use the steam while doing it. When I’m done I wash and witch hazel again, pat dry, use an ice mask to close up the pours and reduce swelling, and then lotion. Immediately after you look super weird, but once the hickies clear it looks great, feels amazing and is clean. On other days I just do it a little here and there after a shower where I’m prone to blackheads. Would recommend. Keep in mind in my photos I had a micropeel a couple weeks prior and still have discoloration so not all of the discoloration is hickie from the sucker.

In the instructions it says to not leave the vacuum for more than 3 to 5 seconds on the same spot. Well I didn't, but I came back to the same spot and did it for another 3 seconds, and then for another 3 seconds ... I know... Well it left me with a bruise. So I will suggest you avoid going back to the same spot to avoid this happening to you.The vacuum works great, left my skin smoother. Practice first how to use it on your leg or your arm and use the right attachments for the desire results.
