How to Use
- Shave the entire treatment area ensuring it is dry and free from any lotions. Place glasses over eyes
- Plug in the device, red flashing light appears
- Press power button to illuminate screen
- Flashing red light indicates skin test can be performed
- Place skin tone sensor (back of the device) in contact with the treatment area
- If device powers up successfully (faint humming) skin type is suitable
- Press power button to set intensity (1-5)
- Place front of the device on the treatment area at a 90° angle
- Once a solid green light appears - press the flash button
- After each flash wait for the green light to reset, press flash button again until entire area has been treated
- Hold power button for 3 seconds to power off, clean device

The intensity setting is likely too high for the treatment area, adjust to a lower setting for more delicate areas
While both techniques use light to reach the hair follicle, laser uses a more targeted wavelength, while IPL uses a broader wavelength of light which is why it is used in certain skin treatments also. Laser is typically administered as an in-clinic treatment and can be more costly and more painful. Fewer sessions may be required to see results however
